We first saw Awahni on September 8th and we brought her home three days later.
She had a very rough life previous to meeting us, but now she is happy and content and we could not be more thrilled to have her as part of our family. Okay, so we could go for a moratorium on the back yard den digging, but no one is perfect! Awahni is pretty darn close though!

Where did she go? Nature's camouflage!

Awahni has taken over most of the sleepable surfaces in the house.

Much to her chagrin, Awahni makes an excellent pillow.

The large lump in the sheet next to Awahni is none other than Scout.

Awahni in a favorite outdoor pastime - sleeping in the bushes.

Awahni is a bit camera shy.

Awahni's hair is all white save for a yellowish stripe down her back.

Occasionally Awahni hangs out on the front porch...

But she's much more likely to be found on the back porch, where she often has company.

Although they maintain a respectable amount of personal space, Scout and Awahni get along famously.
